I saw this car for sale, and in the description it says the car runs and drives fine, but when more throttle is given the car knocks. I don't understand how it is possible to only knock during boost.

Makes sense to me, more throttle, more load, more chance at ping/knock.
Could be crappy fuel, could be a dead miss on a cylinder or something like that. Only way to fix it is to trouble shoot and figure out possible causes, pull codes etc etc.
to me, it seems like if it had rod knock then it would do it all the time. it wouldn't be hard to hook the scanner up to it and see what codes it has, except it is a couple hours away. not real sure if it's worth the effort.
