Clifford was bought by DEI sometime in the early 90's I want to say. Then they changed everything and pretty much just left the remotes looking the same, but they didn't have the range that they did before. Seems I always had range issues with the DEI alarms. That was another reason I liked the Crimestopper alarms, external antennas.
