You should be able to get it through the firewall. Theres a rubber grommet/plug directly behind the alternator, about a foot down or so. Pull that plug out, and jam the wire in there. You'll have to fish around under the passenger side dash, under the carpet for a bit to get it pulled through.
Picture of said area
Obviously that's a much smaller gauge wire, but if you remove that entire rubber plug, you should have room
Nice, thanks man. I knew I didn't have a drill handy where I am and I didn't even look but that plug comes right out.
Edit: Now I'm having trouble fishing.![]()

dust.. pull pass carpet back at firewall
You'll see the main wiring feed. Go there
Thanks for the reply bill, but what I meant was, where do I run the 0ga threw the interior to the trunk? The smaller 4ga I have for my system now fots one under the trim Along the bottom of the doors. Just don't think 0ga will work in there?
Run it under the carpet, just remove the passanger seat if you need then pull the back seats and pull the carpet back should find some place

i drilled a hole under the wind shield took the cowl off and drilled a hole, fed the wire in the hole it came out to the floor like nothing.
then took the door sills off, the carpet has a few loops over hooks, take them off, tuck the wires down the side of the carpet.
i ran my remote power wire to the amp with the power cable from the dash along the sides and took the back seat out to get the wires to the trunk.
if your running rca cables you may want to pull the pass front seat and run the cables closer to the middle console and up to the radio. you can go the long way if they reach of course.
Perfect. I'll prob end up going under the cowl as that seems to be the easiest way and safe as long as I avoid the drainage. Thanks for the input, much appreciated. Now the wait for my new DC level 4!!
in this pic, on the left side you see a piece of metal dividing under the windshield. i made my hole to the left of that metal.. maby a inch over and as high up as i could. i needed a long drill bit to get in there too.

the red wire leading under the corner of the cowl is the amp power cable.

This is how I was able to do it. I didn't go under the carpet with the wire until I was at the back of the center console.
