i have had multiple speakers in my car in the front first had stock blew them, then had sony explode's witch were pretty good for the deal i got, blew them too, now i have jvc's and they sound amazing! goes very loud with great high low and mid range, theres also a little button to change something on them but i could never hear the difference.
my old car had alpines (bonneville) and it sounded almost like i had a sub with alpines all around, same size speakers as the grand prix.
so i highly recomend JVC or Alpine's great speakers and not too expensive.
