My front 5 1/4 speaker on the passanger door doesnt stay at the same volume, and sometimes it rattles when your driving. It will stay at the regular volume then suddenly drop volume, then go up for a bit. Its a Bose speaker and a buddy said that it might just be loose or a wire came disconnected. Anyone else have this happen or heard of it?

its a loose wire if it is cutting out.. getting quieter and louder could be an amp (not sure if these bose systems come amplified) or the head unit.. most likey its the wires tho

well the rattle you hear is probably the voice coil and the reason its fading is because the impedence on a blown speaker flucuates badly . Still running the stock deck?
