    no because everything higher than the port's resonant frequency would still be trapped in the trunk and yes, it'd be louder than a traditional vented box.

    Its designed for SPL only and its tuned to 45hz and has a peak at 48Hz. That box is actually one of three enclosures for a tahoe build I did awhile ago. With 6 kicker L7's and 6000 watts it hit 155 and hit a 137 in extreme drive by.

    It still got beat by my old blazer with 4 DD9515's and 8 DD z3 amps strapped.

    The top box is the box thats in my Grand Prix and that hit 141.5 @ 32Hz, I didn't think that was to bad for some kicker CVR's and 800 watts.
