No Cat no ubend? Absolutely
Seems hard to believe with nothing other than an intake and ubend delete.
They always seem to knock with stock manifolds in the higher rpm range.
Not saying it's wrong, but I could never trust a phone app to give me data like that.
The way you say it gives out it's readings just has me thinking it's not doing a real time log down to the tenth of a second.
How much Detonation do you have now?
What Scotty said ^
Personally, I never "beat" on my car until its up to full operating temperature.
probably about 6* in that zzp PCM
The torque app is accurate, if you don't want a delay, don't load so many gauges in it, limit it to what you need to see. Is real time and I've checked it against other gauges and its dead on. Make sure you have the Knock PID loaded and as mentioned the PCM doesn't monitor knock until @ operating temps. The torque app is just displaying what the PCM sees...
But the bigger problem is dropping to a 3.4 on a ubend with a box tune (let some a ZZP). Just asking for trouble in my opinion. A wideband would give up the ghosts on the ZZP tune to see of its dumping fuel. But anyways, welding in an extra bung would seem too much work for some!
Worse that could happen is "BANG" "CLUNK" "CHINK"... Time for a new engine because you thought you had no knock on a ubend delete while dropping pulleys!
if im right judging by your timing. you got like 9* of kr there easy.
get a better app, or a better screen that tells how much KR your getting.
i run timing and kr on a screen by themselves.
Torque knock detector, it's never worked for me. You aren't using the right section. You need to add the additional PIDs for GM vehicles, then add a KR gauge on your dashboard.
