Good god. I think Scotty is right, stop beating on the car ASAP. If that 6.5 degrees of timing is accurate….

you should really take that pulley off till you get headers or a 3 inch down pipe and a plog. hint headers are cheaper then the dp/plog combo.

getting a tune cant hurt either.

the dp should help. scrap the res, buy a glass pack have the shop install that in place of the res. they are like 25 bucks at the parts store.

speed daddy was selling a plog, but ive not seen it in a long while now, it was a 120 iirc.

regals have a longer res then a gp. i measured up my old one, bought one that was close. it was a 30 inches long. so i got a 32 g/p. i cut the inlet tube off welded a flange on it to make it 2 inches shorter over all.

its a muffler shop item. cost me 10 bucks. gasket was like 8.

i got the gasket at the parts store, then matched it to the flanges on the shop wall, cause they all looked dumber then dirt and i didnt want to get screwed.

every last pipe connection now has a band clamp on it. once i put the 3.4 pulley on i was blowing sections a part one by one lol

im up to 6 band clamps now, headers to muffler.

i wouldnt be worried about the boost right now....it would be throwing your 3.8 pulley back on the car or driving like a grandma until you get it tuned properly.

I just bought my PLOG for 139.00 at ZZP ........... It will not give HP like long tube header but frees up some air flow under boost and lowers KR.......... Takes about 30 min to install.
