sure seems like thats the problem! so it may not be a cracked flex but the convertor bolt holes get stretched or egg shaped or what? seems like that vid still has bolt holding it but the flex obviously has a lot of play. you happen to have pics of the trashed flex plate??
I had the convertor bolts loose because I was getting ready to pull the motor again. The problem was the bolts that hold the flex plate to the crank backed out. The flex plate was loose and flopping around on the crank.
