Thread: questions about Swapping in l36 pistons into my l67!

Looking to see if this is a good idea and how much power itll net me!

Mods include 2.25 intercooler stage 2 cam stage 3 heads 3.0 pulley. Full exhaust upgrade. Thanks!

Depends on what you are going for. Sure, it would bump the compression a bit. Doing this sounds like a top swap to me. N/A bottom end w/ supercharged top. You would have to tune it and also have the proper machine work done to the bottom end to reassemble everything correctly and make it last more than 100 mi. If you really want to do this I would think finding a used N/A motor and swapping your parts onto it would be better and cheaper option, so as not to disturb the stock bottom end. Just my .02

If you are looking for more power then you could go to a Gen V blower if you haven't already. More efficient blower. Probably wouldn't need that 3.0 pulley on it. Or you could sell it all and go turbo and make even better power.
