Doing my engine swap this weekend. Going from a series 2 to series 3. Any tips? Any parts that's gonna give me a hard time? And will I have to do a relearn on my PCM? I have a 2001 gtp

Assuming its a L32 replacing your L67, they is nothing really different at all.
Just swap the parts over from your old motor and it will run as normal.
Swap the rear exhaust manifold
You can use the evap from the new motor as long as you don't have a 97
Swap your MAP sensor onto the new motor (or change your plug to the L32/L36 one)
Flexplate should be dual drilled, so no worries there
TB, you'll need an adapter to go from Gen V to L67 or whatever other one you choose
PCV will need to be run from the nipple on the back of the Gen V to the correct spot on the TB. Outlined in this thread

That should get you there.
Shouldn't have to. Same engine with slightly different internals as far as I'm aware. Just different rods and pistons but should otherwise be about the same. Besides Gen V instead of our Gen III

You should do a crank relearn. Beyond that.. no .. the pcm will/should adapt to the change in airflow etc
How do I do a crank relearn? I'm swapping my gen 3 on with the intake. And either will sell it or wait to save for the adapter
You won't need a relearn to start and run.
Relearns can be done with DHP, HPT, Aeroforce or dealer
Okay. So the guy I was getting the "supercharged" from. Just sent me a picture. Well it's not supercharged. Worth it to top swap it?
whats he charging? not to much i hope.
top swap needs new head gaskets and new bolts. and it maybe wise to have your old heads looked over, new valve seals and springs at least.
thats not bad if he takes it. off sets the price of the extra new parts and gaskets. i'd re gasket most every thing, back of the engine, the crank seals, front and back, the oil pan, maybe even the timing comer. its all easy with the engine out of the car.
300 is what I would pay. You need a motor don't insult him by offering $100 rather if it's sc or n/a. You still have all your good parts to swap over.
