    That is a later mod, I am trying to get the supporting mods done first and worry about the pulley last because there really is only once choice the 3.4" (yeah I know they have pretty much all sizes, but people usually run the 3.4" and have success so I am using it) Trust me I wouldn't skip the best bang for my buck it's just the supporting mods come first or I do it all at once haha.

    youve got it right. do the supporting mods first and then get a smaller pulley. a 3.4 makes the car feel retarded fast compared to stock.

    youre also going to want a figure out a way to scan/tune your car. maybe start looking around at locals or looking into a scanner.

    Yeah took your advice bio and have called almost every shop in town and they can tune it, it will cost me quite a bit. I've looked in tuners such as HP and I understand the basics but don't have/want to drop the cash on them because there aren't many people around here that would pay me to tune their cars (mostly stupid Honduhs and Acurahs with their VTAKs) when yours was tuned did you have anything taken out like the Revlimiter and the shutoff?

    Also for plugs and wires would the autolite 104 plugs with a PRJ Performance 10.4mm wire be sufficient enough to run my setup so far?

    i dont really have my car tuned yet. i have been running it slightly tuned for well over six months just to get by with it. i have so many little side projects going on it that once im done my car is going to be a whole new beast. i should be there sometime around springs, hah.

    but as far as what's done, i have the limiter removed, performance shift enabled, a few SES codes set to no report..the basic stuff that you need with a couple of the mods you have to make them work right. higher shift points is a good one to have too because youll drop down right in your power range after a shift. youre going to want to tune fueling and timing. remember this: fueling > timing > boost.

    AL104s will be good for you unless youre not having a pulley drop yet. keep the hottest you can get at the time. if you dont have the pulley yet, keep the stock-esque plugs in there. for wires, you can use stock. i use stock wires. the good thing about the expensive ones is that you can use them nearly forever unless you burn through it or cut it.

    So I should stick with stock plugs and wires until I drop down to the 3.4" pulley I have?

    when should I get the tune done, because I am doing the list and it starts with the therm and then the FWI and the headers come next. Or I could just do it when it starts throwing codes. You guys have all been great

    you can go ahead and get the plug wires. the PJR make for simple plug removel. stock ones were such a PITA!!

    for the tune, i really wouldent think you would need one till you drop pulleys. you can run supporting mods on the stock tune, heck you could even run a 3.4 with supporting mods on a stock tune, probably get a bit of kr at times. a tune pulls it all together so i would wait till last to get that

    Thanks for clearing that up blow, that should give me plenty of time to find someone to tune it then. So changing the to the PJR 10.4mm is ok? They look much better than stock but do they offer anything really beneficial?

    Sorry, I'm anal. It's PRJ, not PJR.

    They have much lower resistance per foot, look a lot better, last a lot longer, and the bendable boots make installing them around various exhaust pieces much easier.

    ha my bad. i knew it was something like that. and the benifits.. like sabrewings said. they are alot easier to work with, makes life alot easier sometimes. performance gains??? not really, not that you will feel. the main point is for easy install and removel of plugs and wires. and alot more durable. mine are resting on my headers alot of the times and no issuies what so ever

    They're not really required at any point. However, if you're going to install certain exhaust components, or if you're going to be removing and installing during modding a lot, they're a good future investment. Extremely heat resistant boots, strong, bendable, and very high build quality. Paul does an excellent job and I was very impressed with his service.

    When it comes time for new fuel rails, I will have no hesitation spending that kind of money with him.

    yea. not a burn on them at all. someone had a pic on here where there engine bay cought on fire and the plug wires were just about the only thing that made it out unburned.

    i picked mine up at the begining when i got my intake (not that im that far into modding but yea) just because i thought they looked good, which they do. but for all the time that ive changed sparkplugs and put my headers on the the removel and instillation was a breeze. the stock ones were so damn hard to get off. the PRJ have deff paid themselfes off in usabilty

    yea as long as you route them right, heat "shouldent" be a problem but good to know if it is it wont hurt them

    Sounds good, have great reviews and read some more about them online. I will likely pick them up at the same time as I get my headers put on (which is also pretty early) i think that would make sense killing two birds with one stone.

    Man that blows stock wires that bad eh? When my brother bought his 94 mustang he went to change the wires and the same thing happened I think I will get the wires right before then and put them on, heard it was a pain for the back wires and plugs though thats why I when I get the headers put on I can get them to do it at the same time saving me the trouble.

    just undo the front dogbones so you can swing the motor forward. not all that bad

    Yeah I saw a few threads on that by why bother doing it myself when they can do it in a few minutes when putting my headers on. Unless you can vouch for them being that easy to put on I will do it myself

    if you really want the wires, yeah go for it. they are a very nice touch and they are durable as all hell. youll be able to use them for at least 100k unless you destroy them by doing something stupid.

    i just recently bought new stock wires because they are up to the task of the electrical system at any mod level and they are cheap. i had a set of 10mm taylor wires on it and they worked very well for a long time. i was chasing down a misfire and figured new wires were a cheap guess at it.

    if you dont want to spend any more money than you have right now, then save your money on them. otherwise if youve got a little surplus then it's a good thing to have in the long run for working on your car.

    Yeah I won't be starting with the electricals that will be one of the last things, but if it will be easier to have the headers and them done at the same time I say go for it Now I just need to find out which order to buy the mods (pulley and tune are last)
