Cartuning Turbo... Magnaflow catback, K&N intake. Pretty sure you can use any LSx T-stat. Racetronix has a fuel pump hotwire kit as well, available from PRJ.

You can also use L92 heads to gain some HP. I'm not sure if the cam's are identical but I'd image the LSx cams will fit.

the GXP's have an LS based engine. Anything meant for an LS1/LS6/LS2....can be used on your vehicle.

Cams are the same, nitrous, they are in the works right now for blower kits.....(to my last knowledge) I do know there is a guy that just started making a turbo kit for one.

No the turbo kits are done, there are a few turbo GXP's out there, very impressive numbers on a stock motor.

Not yet, but i think most of the companys have been closed for new years. I did get one respones about some custom grills. Since the GXP has a different lower valiance. One offered for me to send mine in or just send a sheet of the aluminum mesh.

The pricing on pfyc.com for the cartunning turbo is 5400. They have a link for the installation manual. http://www.pfyc.com/supportfiles/ls4_install_manual.pdf Doesnt seem to bad. There is some modifications for the intercooler to fit, and couple brakets.
here is the link to the pricing. Cartuning Turbocharger Kit - 5.3L LS4 V8 - PFYC

What surprised me is the kit has water/meth injetion standard, and a basic shift kit. But your just using u washer fluid for the W/M injection and say to becareful when resivor is low lol. One thing that bother me was that the uppipe from the intercooler to throttle body would rub on the resivor bottle and they said that this is NORMAL and ok. I woudl not want that happening to mine. AND the lack of heat sheilding

from them having it rub on anything.... that to me says they should have planned the kit better, and should have had more planning. I am sure they rushed to get it out...

I was reading on another forum alot of guys having problems with the trans on stock levels. Plus with the looks of that kit i dont think i'll really go over just basic bolt ons. tune, intake, exhaust, and maybe evetually rockers/cam. LIKE after 100K warenty that should put the car at about 345-380 depending how things work. there is a heat resistant IAT from vectramotors i believe. Faster acting sensor said showed 8whp. Since the iat was more accurate more timing more power.

LS1tech. There were a few guys that were having problems. im sure a few had bolt ons. But i would think they should still hold up to that little extra power. The guys that did have problem under warrenty were told by the techs that they were seeing these problems. One of them was Tourque converters going out and wiping out the trans with metal bits. Another thing was soeliond(cant spell sorry) were shorting out and putting the TCM in to a craze. Something was said about trans temps above like 220. I dont know anything about the new ATF in these trans. Im gonna have to find out more. I noticed mine was like 217 one day but i think i had been playing around, so it did cool down. makes me worry a little there are always gonna be parts to break and fail. Thats just life. i didnt pay attention to the years of the cars dicussed. I know some that failed were as low as 20k and one was 9k.

thats using Dexron VI fluid? or dexronIII? I remember that post from there after you started talking about it.

sounds like factory defects more than anything.... or improper cooling.

I wonder if GM has a quick fix (additional tranny cooler) that they might add on later..

I've been posting over at LS1 tech since my intake manifold swap generated a lot of questions, and I think that we've figured out that the stock transmission calibration doesn't like the extra power. It's not that the transmission is too weak per say, it's just that the LS4 is already near the limits of the transmission for longevity and the stock calibration assumes a stock engine (shocking I know) and let's you get the most out of the engine (there's a lot of torque management when shifting, but you can scorch the tires and use tapshift to get to the redline). You should expect to have to recalibrate your transmission if you add power, and you probably should add a shift kit for longevity even with a few bolt ons. Trannyman95 can hook you up if you want to get serious. That said, at 303HP a stock LS4 will run with a GTP with basic mods.

Just wait until those headers show up in a few weeks and I pick up the New Era DOD cam and a cutout... I might have a little something for ya!

Seriosly though, my bumper got crunched and they're sending me a check, and since I'm doing the work myself I'll have enough money left over to get that cam. It delivers 45WHP in a G8, and with the 113LSA I'll have some decent lope...
