Ok guys got some questions regarding Knock Retard:

Ok I just did a LIM gasket job 2 weeks ago replaced wit metal gaskets new coolant and oil turned the car on it ran like a champ but I'm getting 4.4 to 5 degrees of KR is that normal for a stock motor? I know it isn't a scare but I'm tryna eliminate as much KR before I start puttin mods into the engine.. so far I replaced plugs and wires along with new coil packs new coupler fresh supercharger oil and still am getting a few degrees of KR could it be false knock? When I turn the car on sometimes the engine shows heavy vibration could it be bad upper motor mounts or dogbones? I just picked up some shorter used zzp ones from a member here could that eliminate it? Got some SD headers by puttin those on would that eliminate the knock? A Tune? EGR Delete? Any help would be appreciated thanks guys

headers and a tune will deff help reduce Kr. but for a stock motor that is normal. EGR delete will not do anything and might actually increase Kr if you are having any during cruse, as the egr is designed to lower combustion temps at cruse. tuning isnt really needed for just headers. if you have a tuner and can do it, then do it. but dont spend money for a tune just yet.

That's normal for a stock motor.. Knock is more deadly when you start to pulley down. Check those mounts if the motor is moving it could be causing false knock to occur. Last time I check the shorter dogbones wouldn't work with headers not enough clearance.

Thanks guys I wont goin for a all out basic build so a tune isn't in set until everything is ready to be put in... I'll put the headers on to reduce KR hopefully shorter dogbones will fit could a vac leak cause KR?
