This code is one of the best examples of why you should find information before shotgunning parts. I watched a guy shotgun $320 of EGR's (2 of them) when a forum told him "that's an egr code, you need another". I saw the ongoing issue, googled it and came up with the GM FSM stuff off GearChatter.com Said in the diagnostic aids to check map, becaue the map reads the difference in the air. When the EGR opens, the pressure is expected to change via a map reading. PCM doesn't see it..code is set. Although it has EGR in it's title..it's hardly ever an EGR.
