You can do it and amber can help
lol thanks guys! Just didnt want to spend my shopping money/time on the damn car again! I will let you know what happens! Thanks again!
Would the car still start up for a few seconds if the fuel pump was bad??
Here's what I would have diagnosed this.
1. Unplug the maf sensor and see if you can get it running. If it runs/runs better, it's a bad maf
2. Check fuel pressure/fuel pump fuse.
3. Go from there.
You had the pressure checked and it appears the fuel pressure is questionable. Anything under 20psi and you can't start the car. It's not right that you can sometimes start it. So I'd be checking stuff closely.
The car just started again, but within 3 seconds quit running, I will check the MAF and go from there. Thank you
Nope MAF is good
Then I'd think it's a pump. If it's starting at times, it's not a fuse. And you don't have a fuel pressure regulator on that year.
$314.99 for a new pump, trying to locate a parts store that actually carries the pump!
That 300 and some dollars is for the whole pimp and regulator. The pump it's self shouldn't be to expensive
Sent from my pager using Morse code. ... .. ... ....
check Rockauto.com and use a discount code you find on google. Or if you have Advance locally.. find an online discount code (there's a thread on this forum, second post has the place to get the codes as a link) Best advance code I've used was something like $50 off $250 or more.
Every place I look sells the whole assembly kit! Im getting frustrated!
