    Update:
    Replaced Valve Cover Gaskets
    SD Headers Installed
    NGK Spark Plugs Installed
    Replaced Fuel Filter
    New Maf Installed.
    Replaced Vacuum Lines
    Aeroforce Scan Gauge (:
    Before:
    Maf Low Signal
    Cylinder Misfire 1
    Random Cylinder Misfire
    Now:
    Maf Low Signal
Friend of mine on here said to check the grounds on the car, get them cleaned up, lil sandpaper here and there, if not, bad wiring.
I have a new maf on there and still the code comes up. Power is there, it hesitates on shifting though, it will accelerate, get cut off, accelerate some more cut off, let off the gas, change gear. No codes from the transmission though.
Couple days ago i put some lucas fuel injector prior to a 160 mile drive, on the way back, codes went away and it shifted and drove like it supposed to, vroom! And this is with the old maf installed. next day, codes still werent showing up, later on after work, warm day, turned on the car and the codes appeared and it drove so bad, and then here i am now, new maf and aeroforce installed. I see no kr at all, even when i gas it hard, but if i gas it hard from a stop, it hesitates before shifting and i got about almost7 kr. but thats it. if i gas it from 30 or 40, i get as much as 1 kr. I cant figure out the problem, im pretty sure the maf is killin my car though, i get no readings from the aeroforce for the maf. Bad wiring for sure, idk where to start? what other things should i do? thanks.
Car is a moneypit. well, almost done saving up for an evo, my second one (:

no its not, brand new from the auto parts store that my shop orders from. im gonna stick the old one in, and if i get any readings from my aeroforce, then its bad and i better get a refund, they aint cheap.

i have never tried it, but to my understanding, since the scan gauge gets no readings, yet im guessing the car knows its plugged in?
It idles great, doesnt shut off, power is there. i will try tomorrow with it unplugged, if it goes better unplugged then my new maf isnt working properly. or back to where im thinking, bad wire somewhere.

Check your fuse it's the one that data ign 1 or something like that under the hood. Then check your voltage at the maf.

I checked the fuse, it's fine. I plugged a meter to it, getting no power or any ground but the PCM is talking to it.

The middle one is the ground the yellow wire should get around 5ish volts and the pink one should get around 12 ish volts. I just had to track down my maf problem. If you aren't getting any voltage to the maf run the wiring and see if you can find any spots were it's cracked or brittle.

Check how it looks at the connection to the maf and follow the wire as far as you can and make sure it all looks good. You checked to see if it's getting voltage at the plug right?

Yeah that's where I checked, so I have to unwrap all the wiring, to follow it around? I'm looking for a schematic as well for the maf

Looks like that maybe what you have to do. I ended up have voltage to my maf and had to replace the sensor itself.

right, i could have a bad sensor, but this a brand new sensor, its very frustrating. ima throw the old one back on and see what i get. I wanna make sure all my wires are good and my ground is too, this is a project just to figure this out.

You shouldnt get 5 volts anywhere.l.. the pink wire does 12volts, and the ground is ground.. tthe other wire goes back to the pcm after the maf processes a digital signal, so there is no voltage measurabled leaving on that line.
