I have a problem my car revs on idle, i don't know what it is anymore

it could be a clogged cat converter I'm not sure

maybe a vac line loose, but I'm at wits end!

it has 200,000km and it has check engine light on and it was the code for a maf, so i replaced that and the check engine light is still on , i didn't get the computer to check if its the same code.

if you have an idea post!

its a 2000 grand prix gt
i uploaded the video on youtube

    YouTube - 3800 v6 3.8L ldle problem! 2000 grand prix.

YouTube - Reving engine 3800 series 2, 2000 grand prix gt

    Thank you in advance!

its either the Idle air control sensor, the maf sensor or the throttle position sensor.

the idle air control valve and possibly be clean off and re-used, pull it out and see if its really gunked up with crap.

and disconnect the TPS sensor and see what that does to the idle.

also get those codes read and see what they say.
