OK lets get this straight, im getting mssgs from ppl saying im dumb i need headers, i need E85, i need ported heads and cam etc..listen guys..i WANTED a gen V..so i got it..i felt the throttle of a N* and LIKED it, so i bought one. im not bragging about hp gains, 1/4 mile gains or how cool i think i am. the idea of this thread is for yall to help me with install/tips/do's/donts/suggestions. if yous guys have nothing to contribute then i dont need to read your bs.

i believe alot of you lost the idea of this forum, to share, enjoy the cars we work on/enjoy driving. way back when i used to be excited when i got a little extra kick from rockers or a downpipe or hell, the stupid K&N intake i spent waaay too much money on.

im happy where im at, i turned a 4 door family car into a 13 sec car that i wouldnt hesitate to drive cross country (which ive done multiple times)
    buick 3.8 ftw

Seems to me that forums are out to help people go faster for less money.

Must be a terrible thing, this sharing of ideas.

It's a bit misguided and built on the ideas of very few people.

You seem to take every one of my posts as a personal insult.

As a result, you're attempting to justify my opinion as invalid.

You should judge the merit of the post by itself rather than assume the intent based on the poster.

im not doing headers or cam for a lil bit matt

i got the n*/gen v/l32 lim for a GREAT deal therefore that is the plan at the moment. as a moderator your opinion (not that i give a damn) should be a neutral one. n* >stock l67 tb, gen v >gen 3 blower. never said i wanted to break the highest stock cam record or anything, not going to stgart a 50 page TVS thread (if you follow clubgp) im just installing these parts for my own liking/desires. also where did i ask where i can make the most power for my money
    ? i didnt, i got what i wanted /of story

I asked you why you didn't opt for a cam.

You told me you had new RR's, I accepted this as a logical response.

Thus not commenting on the thread at all until snow's post.

I don't agree with snow's comment, nor your conclusion that we've lost the sight of what a forum is for.

You have to be aware of where you're posting.

If this were in the member's rides section, this would hardly be a debate and we'd gladly clean the thread as per your request.

However this is in the supercharged section, typically used for questions related to the supercharged motors.

well..though i was born in the United States my family is from Prince Edward Island, Canada..the old man always said mingya growing up, kinda a boston thing to say? messed up i know lol...but getting back on topic, this is a fun lil upgrade for me, ppl are getting wayyyy too aggressive here. my blower, getting upgraded, my throttlebody, getting upgraded, my tires, becoming a drag radial, my can tune becoming a custom tune...my wiener..growing 4 inches..got it?
