    My 97 gtp wont stay running and the diagnostic plug in under the dash does not work the car does start up and running smooth for about 15-30 seconds evertime and if i feather the gas like its carburated it will stay running but as soon as i stop doing it i does die any ideas??

    check the cig lighter fuse for the ODB2 port.

    try un-pluging the maf and see if it runs longer.

    i thought about that problem because it started blowing fuses when i used the cig lighter port

    Did replacing the cig lighter fuse help the OBD2 port??

    It could also possibly be the crank position sensor...That's almost identical to what my GTP did.

    Is the SES light on??? Cause if so, your best bet is getting the OBD2 Port working, then pull the codes.

    When you give us more info... we'll be able to help you.

    Til then.. we have no idea if the fuses blew again or what is happening. We can't quite see the car from here.

    the fuse was blowing every couple of days when i started the car but the fuse is fine now and it still does not work i mean the obd2 plug and the car still is not working right

    the cigarette lighter connector was bad and the reason the car wouldn't stay running is because i only had about 23 psi fuel pressure and i needed 55 psi
