ok so what should i do with my 1998 gtp with 205,600 moderately driven regularly maintained miles on it??? im looking for about 300whp maybe more. i already have header back exhaust and intake... i was thinking zzp reconditioned heads with an ssac intercooler with a zzp heat exchanger, bosch pump, zzp intercooler controller and ported lim with an overkill pcm, but im open to all suggestions... link to ssac ic. With those miles I would keep the money for a new motor an trans and suspension... But headers are a must, zzp reconditioned heads are a waste of money, just have a machine shop redo yours if there's anything even wrong with them, or buy a used set of low mile l32 heads with the slightly bigger valves. and the ssic intercooler setup isn't worth it, spend a tad more and at least get the stage 2 core and fmhe. and of course get or make a nice intake setup

I'd spend the money on a good trans. And rebuild the top end of the motor. The last thing you want is to spend $2000 on go-fast mods, and have the engine blow.

205K miles is up there, so make sure everything is up to snuff before you go modding.

Also, I dont think the Water to air IC is very viable...least I've never seen any car running them besides the Aussie 3.8 RWDs.

I like my SSIC, I was able to go from a 3.5 pulley with 17degrees WOT timing to a 3.25 pulley with 19 wot timing and a 12.0 AFR. Is it as good as a fullsize. No. Does it work? yes

its not SSIC...its SSAC..totally different intercooler.
    Ones liquid---liquid
    The other is liquid-air.

I wouldnt get just a stock transmission. If you're planning on putting down 300hp, your gonna start tearing up stock trannies.
See about a TEP tranny, or similar trannies.

I'd say if the bottom end is good, just rebuild the top, with go fast stuff, and be happy.
