    speed daddy headers im probably getting. the 3" after the rear. so i dont need a down pipe or anything? what do i do if i wanna keep my cat? and does the piping delete the ubend too or is that something i have to do separate. if anyone could help out thanks.

    headers will not have a u-bend and come with thir own downpipe. get a magniflow 3" high flow cat and have an exhaust shop weld it in

    ^ Exactly what I did except it was a friend that did the welding. We modified the downpipe to get rid of that dip while we were there too.

    2002 GTP: GMPP Sway Bars, BMR trailing arms, KYB AGX/Vogtlands, 12" brake upgrade
    Modified SSAC headers, K&N Intake, 3.4 MPS, S1X, Gen V, 104's, HPTuned.

    if you bought your headers from the following link, you just scammed yourself out of $30, my friend. the GT SD headers are exactly the same as the GTP headers that are listed, but are $30 cheaper.

    They're $35 dollars cheaper, but have $35 shipping. Guess how the prices come out?

    Im also thinking about getting the SD headers above for an 02 GP GT Coupe.

    For complete install onto borla catback, all i should need is a new cat right?

    That'll get rid of Ubend and all other stock restrictions?

    I'd sell the Borla for a trillion dollars because it is the most expensive and worthless mod out there for the 3800. Then...top swap your car with the headers.

    Lol. I did the borla for the sound not the performance... Even that was underwhelming. An expensive mistake. I dont wanna top swap tho - to much time/work and money...

    Headers on an n/a L36

    Now no offense, I get why people want them, but they're worthless on an N/A 3800. More harmful than helpful since you can kiss all your bottom end goodbye. Which, lets be honest, is all an L36/L26 has without any sort of forced induction

    i sorta disagree, i feel the loss but its not huge, i feel a difference in the higher end which is where these cars lack, headers just share the tourque with the rest of the powerband. besides, just gettin ready for a top swap!

    ahhh i couldnt quite put my finger on it, thats pretty cool because they feel like 12 inches so they must be efficient
