Ok so I bought a wreaked GTP for cheap a few months back and I finally got the money up to get this swap done. The motor has 78k miles on it and I was wanting to know what you guys would suggest I change on it. The car might have been at such a angle that oil was in the intake so with that in mind I already picked up the aluminum intake gaskets, and a supercharger gasket. Also have both belts for it because they where bad. Also got a new thermostat, always good to change out.

Was just wanting to know what else I should change out before I swap motors in my GT. Thanks a bunch. Was thinking lower gasket set and valve cover gaskets.

What he said i think Just top swap the supercharger on to your gt engine get a little bump in hp from higher compression of the n/a block in your gt

Aweful lot of work to top swap the S/C onto a GT. Not to mention the GT's tranny may not hold up against the S/C.

it all depends how much your into working on cars
if it were me I would pull both engines swap parts over and the swap trans over So in the end you have a trans that can hold up and a few more hp If you want it easy and clean just swap the gtp engine over change the basic items that wear out and call it a day

Well I forgot to mention that the reason I bought the GTP was due to the fact that my Trans is shot. 4th has been gone and I have a major 1-2 flare when its warming up. Going the root to spend the least amount of money I'm just swapping both engine and trans.

Also I need to get both axles, the ones from the GTP seem alright but it was crashed so just going to go ahead a get some remained, who seems to have the best? Was going to get NAPA, but was thinking I might hit up Carquest.

It'll hold up just fine as long as you're not doing burnouts.

True. Like you said that's both the HD and non-HD versions. I was referring to what made them different as far as what they can and can't take.
