I need to scan for kr, and I was wondering if I get the aeroforce gauge could I just plug it into the OBD2 port and scan using it like a hand held or is there more to installing it and something has to be wired in order to use it?

basically ya u just plug it in to the obd2 but there is a power, analog 1, and analog 2 harness u will have to plug in. just the power u have to hook up to accessory depending on if u want it to shut off automatically or if u want it to a switch. the analog 1 and 2 are for aeroforces other options like the a/f, and other things on there site. hope this helps
