Hey guys, long been awaited header install will take place this weekend. Keep in mind that these headers are the Xtune Headers.... Reptile, Abrasive, and myself will be installing these on Saturday, I will be sure to take lots and lots of pictures, so everyone can see exactly how they fit and what troubled areas we may run into. Some things we've already noticed are, the header bolts that come with these headers are too short... if you buy these then you will want to purchase new header bolts at 5/16" thread pitch, 18 threads, and 1" long. Also you will want to pick up "Mr. Gasket" brand copper 3", 3 holed header flange gasket, for the y pipe and reducer flange, you will want to pick up some "scott seal" brand slip joint band clamps. ( get those from Reptile, and I believe zzp sells something similar). the bolts and header flange gasket can be found at a local orielly's or AutoZone, probably even NAPA. well stay tuned as I will be posting more information this weekend. as always have a good day!

Yeah they are cheap lol, but how much all together did you pay after you had to buy the new gaskets, slipjoints, and bolts +cost of headers? Lol sorry if it's a lot of work but I want to know so I can have all cash ready when I start buying for MOD day :P

236, headers shipped, 30 for header flange gaskets and bolts, 15 for the slip joint clamps, and 15 for both the manifold gaskets so about 296, or 300 lol

PS. Dinner for Brian and Jay, TBD.....

My advice.... unless you have access to a welder, bender and all the other stuff to make a completely custom set of headers yourself in the first place, stay far far away from the eBay headers. Well Riley, that was an adventure.
