when im driving my boost bar in my DIC is reading that my car is always using the supercharger. When im sitting still it reads the bar being half way used. Is there a problem with my DIC? Or is my supercharger actually always being used? And if my supercharger is always being used, will that effect my MPG because it will always be shoving more air through my engine therefore it will use more gas right?

yes more gas = bigger bang. but really i would start to look for the reason its show boost at an idle 1 reason might be vacuum leak.

you might have a vac leak to the map sensor. its what reads your boost.

Check the vacuum line going to the map sensor. I've had the same thing happen and it was because the map sensor vacuum line that was disconnected

It's also possible that someone put a 1 bar map sensor on your supercharged car with a 2 bar bin file
