Well the saga continues....

I took it in to have the leak diagnosed and was told there is no actual leak. The mechanic said he ran another pressure test and it held perfectly. He said he tried everything to recreate the leak and it just wouldn't do it for him. I was also told both the radiator and the overflow were still full of fluid, and had not lost any from 2 weeks ago when they had bled it. Also, no air in the system this time, and it's not even close to running hot like before. They think the coolant was left over from when they bled and it added coolant previously, and had just dripped down the frame to the ground.

They still thought it might have an LIM / head gasket problem because of the air in the system previously. I gave them permission to open the motor up and look at the LIM, and replace it if necessary. They don't do head gasket repairs so couldn't have that looked at by them. I figure they're honest because this morning they called to say they're 90% sure it's a head gasket, and they're not going to do the LIM. I'm only getting charged for 30 min of labor to open it up. He also said it could be nothing so wait and see if it starts losing fluid and / or heating up.

Neither my hubby or I have ever overheated this car it's gotten 3/4 before almost to the red but we've always stopped it, so is a head gasket even a possibility do you think? Or is it possible from all the work that had been done since October of last year, as well as us opening it up and refilling the radiator til we learned to use the overflow only, it just had a whole lot of air in it that's gone now?
