Ok when I start my car it makes a sucking noise but it goes away after the car warms up. It wasn't noticeable until I put the cone air filter on the TB. Oil was changed a few days ago along with fuel filter but the noise still exists. Is this normal since it may just be the sound of it sucking in air? Also my scan tool shows no errors and all dtc's show as ready except for evap (it always blinks). Also if I cold start the car and start driving the noise is more noticeable.

    ^ This.

All open cone intakes will do that.

Because it idles higher until it warms up. More air getting sucked in = louder suction noise.

Let it warm up then pull the throttle cable and it will sound the same.

The stock airbox is designed to keep things quiet. Change the configureation and you get noise.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

All i know is when the car is cold i dont hear the noise just at the filter, i hear it threw the entire tube. when the car is fully warm and i rev it to 1000rpm-1300rpms steady it does not make the same "suction" noise.
