Those look like stick on hood scoops...doubt they're functional anyways.

I just did mine on a 2005 3800 naturaly aspirated, and attached a small breather filter to the crankcase breather hose which used to be attached to the stock air intake box. When I first start the car it hisses like a mother f****r for like 15-20 seconds from that breather. Is that ok? I wasn't sure if that was ok. I have done a CAI before on my 2003 silverado 5.3L, but there was a place to attach the crankcase breather. Anyone have any ideas? Should I reatach it somewhere to the CIA pipe? It seems to run fine the way it is.

Thats not a crankcase hose.... thats the intake hose.

The hissing is either your IAC valve being a noisy whore or you have an intake leak.

Ok, I was really not sure what it was and just took a guess. So should I somehow connect it back to the CAI? Or is it ok to leave it disconnected with a breather hose. Assuming if it's an IAC valve hose it needs to be connected to the CAI. I'll take a pic and post it later.

I can't tell if you're talking about a hose for the PCV system or the intake itself.

    Pics plz

IAC valve hose? lol wut? The IAC is a sensor...you just plug it in...it is in the TB. Either your talking about taking the IAT out or you have an '04+ car...

Not 100 percent sure. Guy at work said thats what he thought it was. I was unsure and to be safe made a hole for it. I dont have a picture of it but I will try to get one tonight. Mine is a metal intake also not the PVC like a lot that are made on here

It is an 05 grand prix. I bought a namebrand intake and returned it twice and called the company I bought it from because they had no place to connect the hose. And they had no idea what I was talking about either. I'm just a little confused by this one stupid hose. The car runs fine though and it's been on for just under a month. I'll get more pictures soon.
