^^^^^ The transgo kit will be perfectly fine. The only way you really will see more performance is upgraded boost valves and valve body changes that arent a quick easy swap and usually require reaming of the valve bores and such.

Well after I do the shift kit I'm going to start work on my heads... I don't want to keep having to change the shift kits I just want one that would be like a street/strip and after the head work it should be real fun...

If you really want to correct the shifts pull the VB, put in the sonnax boost valve, TC apply valve, updated afl and drill out the bypass holes in the separator plate. If the only parts your going to install out of the shift kit are the accum. springs it doesn't matter which kit you buy. They all do the same thing. **** if you just want to make it bang into gear just buy some tubing in the same dia. as the accum. pins and cut them to length. Take the springs out, put the solid spacers in. Defeat the accum. function completely for $10

No those valves are purchased from a company called sonnax and like I stated before you usually have to ream the valve bores with a reamer and thats not something you should really attempt if you dont know what your doing. Transtar will sell you a valve body that has all the sonnax upgrades done to it already. Couldnt tell ya a thing on the price but you could give them a call.

I had the zzp kit in my 99. It blew the 2nd gear apply piston into about 6 pieces. The zzp kit says right in the directions it will cause hard part failure. I'd avoid that kit like the plague.
