Well that's the point of what I just said...
Im going to take the water out so they wont have to mix, I dont understand why it didnt just evaporate away anyways, but if I drain it there wont be water in there anymore to mix with the new fluid and it should be all good.
Then next time I wash it out I'll make sure to towel dry it so there's absolutely no water left
Question. Once the water supposedly "boils off", where the **** does it go? Nowhere.
How about into the atmosphere?
Since our cars are equipped with GM's PCV or Positive Crankcase Ventilation system to vent gasses out of the car to the atmosphere...
That is where the water would go.
The only thing you can try to do is keep flushing TRANSMISSION FLUID through the transmission, but it probably still won't get all the water out. Put water in a pot, put a sealed lid on and boil it, then let it cool. You'll have slightly less water, but most of it will remain.
the engine has a pvc system not the trans
Obvious troll is obvious.
This thread is officially my garbage dump for useless posts and stupid pictures.
Ok, I take it a troll is someone stupid who doesnt know about cars, this is my first forum so whatever you wanna call me, thats fine... I thought this was a place to come for help when you dont know what to do, but I see you guys just ignore and abuse people who dont know and make mistakes.
For anybody that cares I went out and took the transmission pan off again and there were a lot of metal shavings, and some pretty decent sized chunks of metal, actual chunks laying in the pan... so
I guess my transmission really is damaged a bit, Im gunna put some new fluid in tonight and see if it helps things.
if you got chunks in the pan, dont waste your money on new fluid,,its shot, go buy a used trans and get to work....now you have dug your self into a hole....
This.
And if you're legit and not a troll, I'm sorry. Still was a terrible idea what you did though.
P.S. Troll (Internet) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
Post some pics of the pan and its contents. You may get some help that way.
Hope you guys liked the free posts
