Remove all the bolts on the channel plate lowest bolts you can see on the side where you opened it.
Now remove the highest bolts (pump)
There are 2-3 others that I can try to get a picture of tonight for you that need to come off. By not removing them all, you can leave the valve body and channel plate together. This keeps you from worrying about the checkballs and gaskets for those pieces. You only need the two channel plate gaskets.

Then the hub is right on top. Lift your 4th clutches out and you have the hub in yoru hand. I have pics..but also a meeting in 1 minutes. Gotta jet.

Hi, Are you able to get some pictures to show which bolts need to be removed to get access? I have the tranny on the bench and I just need to replace the 4th gear hub... but if I can do it without having to open the valve body would be great.

thanks
