Thank you very much for you response, very very helpful. I guess I didn't state the year of my car ha oops...! It's a 97 so that works with what you were explaining. The last paragraph where you explain a test to see whether the problem is internal and 3rd clutch or sprag etc. sounds like exactly what I need but I don't completely understand what I do after I unplug the connector. I am very familiar with these cars and am capable of doing this test I just won't feel comfortable doing anything unless I am confident I fully understand what I need to do. If you wouldn't mind going into more detail for me on the procedure/steps you would be my hero!!! Thank you again!
