Alright guys, I have a question or opinions for you..I've got an 02 gtp and the vehicle will not move unless you put it in 1st and reverse works fine...after you get rolling around 20mph or so and put into drive the trans will run it up through the gears..fluid is nice and red and no smell of burning...any ideas?

either one of those will run you up to 2000.

used swapped in at a shop 300 ish for a tranny 500 ish give or take for labor.

comes down to are you willing to invest more then the cars book value or not.

How handy are you? What's your time worth? For the cost of an ATSG manual, the band, and some other stuff, you could be rolling again on the original trans. It's a lot of work though.

Stripped splines on the 4th clutch hub. That's my bet.

Yep. Fairly common on the older units.
