    I asked this in another thread but would using RTV be a bad idea? I know it'd make changing them a pain in the future but using aluminum I shouldn't have to right? That way I know the seal will never go bad.

    I don't have prime unfortunately but saw Rockauto sells them for about $7 plus whatever their shipping would be. I'll probably end up just going to autozone though.

    I've actually seen RTV recommended a few times, and so I did it. No issues from it, just don't cover it in rtv.
