Turbocharged400SBC recommended deburring the casting marks in the oring grooves. 220 emery is what I used. I lubed with plumbers heat proof grease.

So far so good. The original orings died after 1 1/2 years
I asked this in another thread but would using RTV be a bad idea? I know it'd make changing them a pain in the future but using aluminum I shouldn't have to right? That way I know the seal will never go bad.

If you have amazon prime and don't mind waiting a few days this is the cheapest. I used these recently, didn't have any problems. Pretty sure this is what ZZP sells you, but with expensive shipping lol.
I don't have prime unfortunately but saw Rockauto sells them for about $7 plus whatever their shipping would be. I'll probably end up just going to autozone though.
