Going to both Walmarts and all 5 MCD's doesn't count as everywhere. You also gotta investigate mom and pop joints and other places you'd never even considered. Ever consider a laundromat? You don't HAVE to work at one, but it's one of those things you never even considered.

You live in Florida, look hard. I live in mother****ing Iowa and there isn't **** out here. I have a job. Hell I'm on my 3rd in less than a year cause i quit and find new ones. Iowa. I don't work on a farm. I work at Staples.

Bull Sh1t! You just can't find a job that you'd like to work at. Any willing 17 year old can find a job. Even if its a few days or hours a week. McDonald's, BK, Walmart,Lowes, Clothing Stores, Candy Shops, Movie Theaters, Grain Elevators, Hardware Store, Parts Stores, ect. That statement is the biggest line of bull i've heard come out of your mouth!

Also if you dont call a place and pester the **** out of them you'll never get an interview much less a job.

A quarter tank isn't much...you ask Reptile how much gas I spent when I was out of a job a few years back in between banks when the market took a sh1t. I was literally driving from one side of the city to the other on fumes for days with the damn low fuel light on. When you want it bad enough one day, you'll get it.

I'm actually in the process of trying to find more $$ right now too. I've been told already that it's probably going to be a waste of my time, but I'm trying to get some kind of job at a local "Mom and Pop" type computer store. For only being 17 I'm fairly knowledgeable about computers and I'm actually working on my Cisco and CompTIA Net+ certifications right now. Hopefully with one (or both) to my name I might just have a chance to get some sort of job there. It probably won't pay as good as it would for a more qualified person, but even if I could make what I'm making now and be doing something I like, then I'd be plenty happy.
