Yellow HIDs cut through the fog like a hot knife through butter.

Try yellow and if you don't like it then you could always just replace the bulbs.

So my lights don't work? I think many around here would say otherwise. My matching HIDs work just fine, especially my fogs with Pilot housings (yes i've been through thick fog a few times). If I wanted yellow fog lights I would of saved my money and kept my OEM fogs and blubs. That would generate a nice ugly yellow tint with blue headlights. LOL. Money saver right there.

Seriously though, Do what you want but I saw how ugly mismatched lights looked. Do it and have someone follow you in your car, i'll bet you change out the blubs shortly after. Looks cheap and cheezy to me. My opinion though...

What percentage of you guys actually need fog lights in the first place?

If you need your fogs to be functional, go yellow. If they're just for show, white.

Yellow will work so much better if you ever drive in any sort of rain/snow/fog. It is seriously like night and day as compared to 8000K. Also the light output on the 3000K is a higher Lumen than the 8000K so they will technically be brighter as well.
Not a GP, but I thought my car might give an interesting comparison on colors for you and since my fog lights and low beams are right next to each other it is a good side by side comparison.

    8000K low vs 3000K fog
