did you install the relay harness with your HIDs? Did you pull your DRL fuse (if you are 97-03)? what year is your vehicle? give us some more info please...then we can help you a little better...

its a 97 gtp check fuses in ballast
sorry i meant in fuse box. I know i know ballast dont have them. Well I dont think i got a relay harnass do they usually come with the kits?
no, you usually have to order a relay harness separately. iirc, i payed $10 shipped for mine on ebay. doesn't matter what kind you get...
well u couldve bought them with the kit, but u can buy them seperate too
Is this what usually causes the flickering i ordered new bulbs to
One of my HIDs are flickering a little bit too. I picked up a relay harness today. I will hook it up now and let you know if it fixed the problem. My ballist is smoking too.. Ugh..
Edit: Alright, rigged my HID Relay Harness for H3's. (8k) The ballist started smoking really bad the first start so turned off. 2nd try not so bad but still smoked and flickering was this there. Grab my phone and recorded the 3rd start, no smoking at all and no flickering either. Had to be broken in? Who cares, the problem is fixed. Try it out.
Just for shifts and giggles, here is that video: http://s1183.photobucket.com/albums/...7.mp4&newest=1
*EDIT*: Nevermind, I hooked up my relay harness properly and the same things happened. HID bulb flickering and the ballist smoking more than Snoop Dog. I guess just that time I was recording nothing hapened magically. So to solve this, just tape up a camera to you bulb and start recording. Waterproof it if possible.![]()

A local HID shop. Spencers HIDs in Eagle River, AK.
Man, i must be lucky. I purchase the $30-$40 per set HID's on ebay. I currently have over 20 sets running between my vehicals, girlfriends and some other family members.
I have never had a single flicker promlem, smoking ballasts(lol), or any other issue. Several set are on relays and some are not.
well installed the relay harnass and my left side bulb died before i installed it but the right side is still flickering so does that mean new bulbs needed been waiting a few weeks for new bulbs havent seen them yet what the hell lol
I am still wondering if its my ballast now because the relay is hooked up and everything and still flickering . But now my high beams wont turn off at all they are on as soon as i start the car so my low and high beams are on and no matter what they just wont turn off any ideas?
any ideas why hids still flicker with even having relay harnass
