Not sure if this is in right forum. My hid bulbs are flickering not on and off just light is flickering is this a bulb issue or ballast issue? both sides do it.

no, you usually have to order a relay harness separately. iirc, i payed $10 shipped for mine on ebay. doesn't matter what kind you get...

One of my HIDs are flickering a little bit too. I picked up a relay harness today. I will hook it up now and let you know if it fixed the problem. My ballist is smoking too.. Ugh..

Edit: Alright, rigged my HID Relay Harness for H3's. (8k) The ballist started smoking really bad the first start so turned off. 2nd try not so bad but still smoked and flickering was this there. Grab my phone and recorded the 3rd start, no smoking at all and no flickering either. Had to be broken in? Who cares, the problem is fixed. Try it out.

Just for shifts and giggles, here is that video: http://s1183.photobucket.com/albums/...7.mp4&newest=1

*EDIT*: Nevermind, I hooked up my relay harness properly and the same things happened. HID bulb flickering and the ballist smoking more than Snoop Dog. I guess just that time I was recording nothing hapened magically. So to solve this, just tape up a camera to you bulb and start recording. Waterproof it if possible.

Man, i must be lucky. I purchase the $30-$40 per set HID's on ebay. I currently have over 20 sets running between my vehicals, girlfriends and some other family members.

I have never had a single flicker promlem, smoking ballasts(lol), or any other issue. Several set are on relays and some are not.
