I read the review Spartan, didnt really specify to wire them in.... besides you said splicing the wires into the parking lights, which make sound easy but didnt go into detail on how to do that, specially for us that haven't done headlight installation before.. no offense...
and also other thing is you mention about a extra plug, so basically on my projection lights i go, i got 2 plugs and a spare hole (for marker) so 1 for my turn signal, other i assume would be my highbeam/low beam. so when installing the HID kit, does the connector fit right into the kit? or do i need to splice those wires togeather also, just wondering... im not that great at this, im more of a exhaust, engine, sound systems, and also interior installer haha.
Alright got it. the HID converison kit looks like a peice of cake, soo thanks again, i thanked you for helping =)
I know that they make a plain hallogen version of the halo lights. I have a set of 6000k bi xenon with balasts that fit right into the OEM lights, but I've had to replace the balasts and lights every couple of months since I got them and I'm sick of it. I didn't wanna get the xenon halo projectors if I was going to run into the same reliability problem when I could just get the hallogen lights and not have to worry about replacing them every time I turn around. Any suggestions?
These come with Halogen bulbs. The bulbs are not HID's.. I was using them for a while. They were pretty good. Your HID kit you have now that fit on your OEM lights are not going to fit on these projectors. Keep that in mind, you will need an H3 HID kit.
I know they won't fit and I'm aware that I would have to get a different HID kit entirely. I was just wondering if the hallogen bulbs were bright enough so that I wouldn't have to get the HIDs and worry about them breaking all the time. Thank you for the advice
I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty satisfied with the halogen bulbs that came with these projectors, no complaints, better then stock for sure. I had to use them for a while until I got an HID kit. I think you'll like em![]()
I used the regular bulbs that came with the headlights for a good month. I was very satisfied with them. Then I went and purchased an HID kit that made me love these even more.
Aligning them is kind of a pain because you have to do it from the back of the projector part which means you have to take the headlight off of the car to adjust them and then put them back on and then off to adjust them. Not too bad if you know what needs to be adjusted.
is it over kill with the highs hid and the lows or is it worth it( i at least want to do lows and fog). and Dashz is charging about 80 bucks per hid kit and some members on here got them for 40 and have worked awesome. my headlights were shipped today cant wait
I see I see.. I was worried I was gonna run into that problem when I was hooking my HID's up too lol
No need for HID High beams, flicking the ballast on and off to power the bulbs is bad for both of them and will shorten their lives.
