    What ever you want them to come on with.

    Some do a separate switch is what some do, or fog lights, or DRL's or even with your park lights most the time.

    I have not decided yet, so they are still left unhooked.

    Yep, as they said most tie them into the parking lights. Tons of options though.

    i wired mine to the parking lights, i believe it is the purple wire to keep them on steady and not to flash.

    If you wire them into the parking lights, you want to wire them into the brown and black wires going to the larger bulb.
