On their own they look stupid, on the car, they look great.
No joke that's what I was thinking too. They look pretty goofy just sitting there.. but on the car, they look pretty mean. Sweet now I'm gonna be able to see at night... who would have thought this was possible in a Grand Prix...
Well I'm gonna rock the stock bulbs just so people know how those are for a little bit.. Then I have the same thing waiting, an H3 6000k HID kit. Once i figure out how to wire it, I'll put that sucker in. I'm excited for tomorrow!
HID Kit is Plug and play into the Ballast
the only thing you have to Wire is the Halo & LED wires.
And those are cake. go buy the quick splicer's from autozone
Strip your White & black wires about a inch and then twist both The White together then both of the black together
use a razorblade to strip the Lowbeams +wire and the lowbeams Ground wire then put the White onto the + Use the quicksplice to clamp it donw
and then take the black to the Black ground on the lowbeams use the quicksplice to clamp it down. and Judgement call on Wraping it in electrical tape
Well I don't know if you mentioned it earlier but is there a way I can wire it to a switch? Maybe even a switch for the halos and for the LED's? Probably just from looking at the wires I can get it to work, but did you know how too?
I was thinking to wire them to a relay and have the HALOs/LEDs on whenever the car is on.
I think it would make them stand out more than with the low-beams on, too.
IMO...lights are too spread out.
Kinda looks like a Grand Down Syndrome Prix
Are any of those pics with the High Beams on? It looks like in the Second picture or so, with the light showing in the trees. Also how is the adjusting on the headlights?
As far as adjusting goes.
Its 2 Screws if you tighten the top one the Beam goes UP but you also need to Loosen the lower one for this
and if you need the beams lower Loosen the top and tighten the bottom
My night shots have them extremely high which i need to adjust again.
As far as highbeams Its got a Bulb in there but the Highbeams dont come on with a HID kit (Not sure why) but at anyrate the HID's are 10fold more brighter then the highbeams anyway.
