Read your response I quoted above. You obviously KNOW NOTHING about cars other than what you read on these forums and probably other rice ass sources. Ive built quite a few decently fast grand prixs fyi. The grand prix that hold the hp record for the S1X cam was built by myself and tuned by my buddy tengis. What have you done? Get back to me when you know what youre talking about. Or go and build a 1k hp car. Youre going to spend a ton of money just for "bragging rights" and still get your **** pushed in by a 500whp gp running correctly.
Now I will give you the argument on the parasitic loss but its not for the bone headed reason you think. The distance has nothing to do with it. FWD cars have less parts to turn which in turn cuts down the parasitic loss. You do know that parasitic loss is due to work right? Also at the end of the day a RWD car is able to put more power to the ground while launching.
As far as your consulting me first comment you need to consult a general mechanics book. Ive been building 3800s for 6 years now, I dont just talk out of my ass unlike you. So please, go ahead and build your 1k hp car. I will be waiting. If you ever want to come to Houston we can line them up if you like.
