Question - "Matt is ever going to be possible for you to hit 7's or is that out of the question?"

"If I can figure out how to efficiently harness more than 1000hp through the torque converter and put down a high 1.2 sixty foot, it would be possible. Don't hold your breath." -Matt M.

Someone please explain then why turbo GNX has been making 4 digit hp for a long time, yes blah blah its not the same engine yeah I got that, but blaming a TQ converter doesnt make any sense to me, and further more you'd think a vendor like ZZP would just have a converter made...............
And as for the "other transmission issues" Back to my 1st comment for the love of god when is someone going to hit 4 digits? even if its for one damn pull!

depends on size of the turbo and saying they dont wheel spin is BS.
Besides I could care less about the times 1st of all lets see someone hit 4 digit hp then worry about times, traction issues, part failure ect...............

is a 4 digit hp figure really usable anywhere else besides the dragstrip tho?

Wow.....the torque converter has EVERYTHING TO DO WITH IT. You compare it to a GNX that is rear wheel drive. RWD trannies have less parasitic loss than FWD trannies. Put a series 2 or 3 3800 on a dyno measuring crank hp with the same mods as GNX motor and the series 2 or 3 will make more power. PLUS our motors dont need 4 digits to run crazy times. Go get a supra if you want to brag about 1000hp just to run 10s. Its all about flat power bands and power under the curve rather than peak hp. Also, you dont need 2 turbos to make stupid power. One big turbo is actually better hence the reason matt m runs one big ass turbo. You guys need to learn more before commenting on something you all obviously know nothing about.

WHY IS EVERYONE SO OPPOSED TO DOING A COMPRESSION TEST TO TROUBLESHOOT PROBLEMS?

Obviously we should all consult you first. Matts BFT is nothing new. What does your rant have anything to do with making 4 digit hp? I flat out said I dont care what it runs just think it would be cool to see someone do it. Sure bring up the TQ convertor that has nothing to do with Engine HP given Ive never brought up RWHP. You must know all though right! LFMAO! Congrats on just ranting and stating the obvious. Oh and BTW many people would argue FWD have less drivetrain loss because of the shorter distance to the drive wheels so umm. Maybe you should learn more before commenting on something you obviously know nothing about!

Read your response I quoted above. You obviously KNOW NOTHING about cars other than what you read on these forums and probably other rice ass sources. Ive built quite a few decently fast grand prixs fyi. The grand prix that hold the hp record for the S1X cam was built by myself and tuned by my buddy tengis. What have you done? Get back to me when you know what youre talking about. Or go and build a 1k hp car. Youre going to spend a ton of money just for "bragging rights" and still get your **** pushed in by a 500whp gp running correctly.

Now I will give you the argument on the parasitic loss but its not for the bone headed reason you think. The distance has nothing to do with it. FWD cars have less parts to turn which in turn cuts down the parasitic loss. You do know that parasitic loss is due to work right? Also at the end of the day a RWD car is able to put more power to the ground while launching.

As far as your consulting me first comment you need to consult a general mechanics book. Ive been building 3800s for 6 years now, I dont just talk out of my ass unlike you. So please, go ahead and build your 1k hp car. I will be waiting. If you ever want to come to Houston we can line them up if you like.
