Yeah i normally go to the same station but i was gone all weekend. So I had a weekend of junk any station that has it i'll take it E85. Not really that many places around here that carry it. Only 2 in raleigh and 5 with 50 miles. Really only like 6 or 8 on my whole trip this weekend that weren't ultra out of my way. Again, i'm disappointed in the results, but i'll go back in like two weeks and see if it's better. It wasn't expensive, and the guys were cool.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was in no way trying to sound like a dick, I was just shocked. Then you explained they were trying to tune away from the kr. Some places won't tune. It's just pulls and left up to you if there is time.

soo boost is greater then timing in your case?

its cool dude. no harm no foul.

Yeah today it was. i"m gonna express ship me a wideband, retune, then hit it again. I plan on setting one of my pcms up for a 2.8 and medium to low timing, and my other for either my current 3.0 or, if someone here has one they'll sell me, a 3.1 or 3.2, with like 21* timing. Then i'll know for sure.

My current and soon to be old set up is s1x / 42s on pump 93 / fsic/ 3.0 and 21* up top I get 1-2* kr on back to back runs but usually my kr light on my aeroforce never lights up.

So I know there is still a lot left on the table for you

I just asked this question in my thread, but what areas are you changing on your spark table? When you say 21° up top, are you just putting that value into the last row, or smoothing it into the bottom rows? Did you zero out your AFR spark table?

well i cant talk to much when i got mine tuned ready to rock and roll. i still think with a solid tune it would clean up alot. wasnt trying to be a prick either its also interesting to see where things are actually on a dyno vs just a hail marry guess. now at the very least you know where to go from here.

Yessir. I scan cruising at 55 65 75 and watch the cells I hit. Bring cruise timing up to 42. Smooth in between so it ramps up nicely. Then do med pulls and wot pulls. Same method on the other side of the table. Smooth it out by hand or use the button.

What cells you hit? Are you watching fuel trim cells? Real time? What scanner program you use that does this?

    You just gave one...

Anyways, I just figured out what table modifier is. Think that will help me out with what I need.

If i were you i wouldn't take my car to those ricers up at phantasm. Call RPM and set up a dyno appt. $75 for 3 wideband pulls. Chris would never run your car out seeing that much kr.

****ty e85 blends around here is why im going with meth, to much inconsistency.

Nice to see another well modded wbody around here keep it up and im going to have to change my setup for some more power.

I've never heard of RPM until today. Just googled them and they look pretty legit. Phantasm wasn't bad though in retrospect I do kinda wish we didn't do like 8 pulls knocking like crap. They definitely specialize in imports and not American stuff. I'll give RPM a call tomorrow and see when they can get me in. I've cleaned up my tune a bit and it seems be running pretty much knock free on the last 2 tanks of E85. I'm back on the 3.0 with like 20* of timing and i'm pretty sure i'm going to stay there. Would like to see 310+ at the wheels on this pulley but we'll see.

If you make it this way on a weekend sometime PM me and we'll meetup for a run or two. I would love to run another cammed gtp and see where i'm at on the street.

I just cut the ins off my car cause its going down for a while. Im changing my setup a little, losing the intercooler, new fuel system, trans and alum subframe. With some weight reduction sprinkled in there. Maybe we could still meet up or something. I'll run you in my ssuv if you want.

You can't claim that some e85 blend is giving you kr until you verify the stoich.
