Being a pretty boring day I decided to take a cruise in town to look for some action. I'm sitting at the stop light and a 2011-2014 300C rolls up next to me, a beautiful shade of blue with darkly tinted windows. just a really nice car. The light turns green, I ease over the dip in the road and hammer it enough for him to hear my blower. Next stop light we ease out and I see him punch it, I follow suit and he's at my far end of my rear quarter panel until we shut it down around 50 due to the next light. Next light I pull behind him to look for badges. All I can make out is 300C. So the next light turns green, I switch to the left lane and he's on it. I pull on him and at 70 he's at my rear bumper barely hanging on. I had to hit the brakes to make the exit but I feel confident I was going to start creeping away, and absolutely confident he was not going to pull an inch.
Now I'm wondering, since I know next to nothing about these cars, is whether it was the V6 or Hemi V8? I could not hear the exhaust due the my radio, my windows rolled up and my adrenaline pumping. Maybe someone can chime in on whether it could have been the Hemi V8 300C. I know if it was the V6 looking at the specs I feel he would have to have some mods done to hang with me. My mods are
2002 GTP
3.4 Pulley
3 Inch ZZP Downpipe
ZZP Canned Tune
Wizaired CAI
180 Thermostat
I think, theoretically that is lol, that my car is maybe capable of creeping in the high 13's, definitely low 14's. I say that seeing as my brothers well maintained 2003 Mustang GT 5 Speed with BBK Cold Air Intake, aftermarket exhaust (Magnaflow?), Bama Tune and driver mod CANNOT beat me, and I can put a half a car on him down low. I know that after many races and the result always being the same. All in all a fun couple of minutes. I only wish that guy knew how much my car cost compared to his, he probably would feel even more owned.
