So I might be able to switch platforms to a 300C SRT8 maybe early next year. It seems to be one of the best options around here based on price/HP. I'm also planning to add headers, CAI and probably get a tuner for it at the beginning, I might even consider adding a procharger later on. But in overall it seems to me like it has good potential.

I'd like to know what you all think compared to my current GTP. What would the difference be between power, handling, MPG, comfort, etc.

    Any thoughts are welcome.

    Ever watched the movie Titanic?

It's kinda like that on the street.

Even the SRT8's aren't that fast...I handed one its own ass on my XP/3.4". Does not impress me for a $50,000 car.

They ride very nice and can get up and move with a few changes.

It cracks me up that people here call them fat pigs when the GP is not exactly slim and was a pig for it's day. Guess what it's a new day therefore a new pig is required.

Rear pumpkins are an issue, but can easily be resolved.

Not tryin' to start something ghost...as I understand where your coming from...but even by today's standards, 4200+lbs. isn't exactly "light" bby any means...it's a porker...if those things, like the Charger and Challenger went on a diet...they'd be a force for sure.

Not a problem at all. No offense taken. (yes, no offense on the internet) My 89 Bird weighs in at about that. 3,900 without a full tank of fuel.

I think the ride of the 300C is much better than any ride I have been in a GP, but don't they have the Benz rear diff and susp. in them?

Challenger definitely looks muscular out of them all in my opinion, but the visibility was pretty bad out of the windshield on the V8, but that could be because of my lack of height haha
If we make eye contact, especially at a red light, we are racing pal!

I'd take a srt 300 over a gp any day. They are deff heavy but they are good riding cars and they arent slow. Iv hear people saying that a gtp will smoke a srt 300 but whatever drugs they are on pass them over here.

I kinda like it better and somehow, the 300Cs are cheaper than the chargers here. A used 300C SRT8 is selling for roughly 20k and a SRT8 charger is over 30k... lol.

Chrysler products= POS. No exceptions. That said, I love the look of the new Challengers, but God help the poor bastard that buys anything fom the Pentastar group.

what those two said. the only thing that would scare me away from the chrysler... is it's a chrysler. other than that, it's sexy as hell and i'm sure it's a nice classy ride. but i don't trust them
99 GT - top swapped, S2X cam. - sadly, sold
    96 Firebird Formula - T-tops and exhaust leak. 14.26 @ 97.8 - sold
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS - stock, in all of it's turbocharged awesomeness

Yeah I think I need to take it out for a test drive first. The other option would be a 05-09 mustang GT, but those are only 300HP not sure how fast are those compared to an srt8.
