If this if for real the Evo needs a mod between the gas pedal and steering wheel. Have you ever ran your GP at the track? Kinda skeptical was the other even driving at all?

I agree with Iraqvet. With 3 people in your car and the minimal mods i'm not sure.
Evo X's run a mid 13 stock, so i'm not sure how hard he was pushing or if he could drive. But i digress.

Lancer's look just like a Evo X minus a few body mods. And they are solid mid 14 second cars.

To the guy who said the Evo needs a driver mod...most Evo's come with the Dual Clutch Auto...so no shifts...just a damned paddle shifter. Still, C&D ran a Evo X at a 13.2 in the 1/4...so...no go on the Evo.

i was in the car with him, honestly i can say he won by about a half a cars length, the guy in the evo X didnt get the BEST start, and shifted into 2nd way to soon, but a wins a win.

whoops yeah it was 2 people in the car with me. and i know it was an evo i checked. honestly they arent that fast its 291 hp and weighs 3300 lbs. my car ran a 13.7 at the track and with a better launch i could have easily ran a 13.5. i looked up the quartermile times for stock evo x's and most ran in the 13.6 to 13.8 range. and I found one that was tuned, and had an intake that ran a 13.7 with a 1.9 60 foot

If you raced him from a roll maybe...cause the AWD suffers on the top end. When I had my Eclipse GST, I would Race my buddys GSX (we had the same mods 16G plus supporting mods) and I would pull away in the upper gears easily.

evo X's are pretty slow compared to the old ones. plus evos are severely over rated all around. i wouldnt doubt this at all.

and slower 1/4 times....evo IX was the fastest.....the faster lap times are due to improved suspension....this wasnt a lap race anyway
