When people have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to cars

Last night a guy is test driving an 08 Impala we had for sale. He knows the trans was swapped, brakes were done etc etc. He pins the wheel on wet leaf covered road and one tire pushed a little. He says to me "That's a tie rod, if you knew cars, you'd know that's a tie rod" I looked over and nicely mentioned that I checked them when I had the cradle off to do the trans swap. He looks over and said "yeah if you knew about cars, uh.. you do know about cars". I kept looking at him with a "my first time" look.

Soooo...did he buy it?
