The absolute worst is putting plastidip on the trim on the door.

You want your car to look cheaper and uglier than it was?

Plastidip is just as bad as giant fart cannons and giant wings on civics.

And painting your whole car with the ****? **** that noise. I don't care how well it's applied, your car is going to look like dog ****.

So here is what I don't understand. Why does it matter? Isn't it personal preference? If you don't like it, MOVE ON. Some like it and some don't, who cares.......*****y little girls..............

That was one of the dumbest trends I ever saw, looked like a wacky racers cartoon, sad part is it was probably started with an idiot with the IQ of 10 who had two flats in the rear and just grabbed two tires he had laying around and suddenly everyone copied it, and expanded it to all 4 wheels

If you can afford to paint it...don't do it IMO. Folks are going ridiculous with this PD stuff. It won't touch my car.

I put it in the same category as CF vinyl if you can't afford the real deal just do without it!

I only used it to see if I would like the way it looked on the doors and whatnot. I'm glad that I left it on instead of actually painting it because at first I liked it but now the look got old so I took it all off. (I need to update the sig pic. Car doesn't look like that anymore.) It's a good thing to use to see how it would look a certain way. Now I am done with it. haha

My job as an enthusiast is to make sure that the owner does not do any mechanical damage to the car, or drive it like a fool. I dogged on the horrid white and blue se from up north and I was called out on it. It is user preference. Some think that a slammed/stanced car look retarded, including mysefl, but most don't judge. I understand your POV, but keep it to yourself or in PM's. Sorry for the harsh words, just being honest.

Plasti-dip has it's uses. Whether mocking up stripes, or testing a certain color... it can be cheap and it's removable. BUT it's actually pretty durable if you want it to stay on. My 3000gt used 1.5 cans (7 bucks?) of the black on it's wheels when I had it because they were beat to **** and painting would have sucked with the flaking clear coat. Plasti-dipped them in 20 minutes, lasted over year with no peeling or scratches, even through winter. And hey, I also redid my black trim pieces that faded. Looked great.

Got compliments from people of all ages. Even on the wheels which were once hideous.
Now I DO say nay to the abusers who paint entire cars or use it like it were a solution to paint. Although now some of the glossy colors actually look like real paint! crazy.
Gotta say, I like the stuff overall.

P.S. (And yes I know how to paint and I do use it. I painted the nasty damage the left door had after I popped out the dent. Paint wasn't cheap and neither was the prep ;p)

I think most slammed cars in the scene look ignorant as well, with 30* of negative camber.
